Oakbridge *UPDATED* Packing List

Please read through and follow instructions carefully:

Packing List for Oakbridge: Despite the long list, please pack as light as possible


•             Please write your name on all your luggage.  BOYS, please tag all of your luggage/bedding with something GREEN.  GIRLS, please tag all of your luggage/bedding with something ORANGE.  (can be ribbon, tape, yarn, a colored name tag, etc.)
•             Bedding – pillow, sleeping bag, sheets, blankets, etc.
•             Food and Spending Money - you will need money for 3 meals during our drive (dinner 7/23, lunch 7/24, and dinner 7/29). Also, bring some spending money for snacks at camp
•             Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
•             Sandals for showers/pool
•             2 towels – one for the shower and one for the pool
•             Swimsuit
•             Plenty of t-shirts and shorts – check the weather for Ramona, CA as we get close to camp
•             Underwear, socks, pajamas
•             Closed-toe shoes for some camp activities & hiking
•             Evenings at camp could be chilly – so bring a sweatshirt, pants, etc.
•             Flashlight
•             Water bottle
•             Sunscreen & bug spray
•             Sunglasses or a hat if you like to wear those
•             Camera
•             Spending money for camp store, vending machines, highlight video, etc.
•             Cabin competition “uniforms” - make sure your cabin group stands out with a creative and unique matching outfit!
•             1 Dark/Camo outfit
•             1 outfit that can get messy and possibly ruined (including shoes)
•             1 Neon outfit
•             1 nice outfit (can be normal nice or thrift store funny-nice)
•             iPods, DVD players, etc. for traveling.  All electronic devices will be turned in upon arrival at camp, including camper cell phones.  All items will be stored safely until they are returned at the end of the week, so please make sure everything is labeled with camper name and YFC ministry center name.

•             Labeled Medication –
        o             ALL MEDS (prescription and over the counter) will be turned in to the camp infirmary.
             Possible exceptions to this rule are inhalers & epi-pens with the approval of on-site medical staff
        o             How to pack medications –
             All meds (prescription and OTC) should come in their original pharmacy container with patient name and dosage info listed
             Label all meds with camper name and YFC ministry center name
             Parents, write a letter describing all details of dosing and administering of the medications as well as any drug interactions you are aware of with your child’s prescription (i.e. with food, w/o food, time of day, things to consider, etc). This information helps to ensure accuracy and that nothing gets missed)
             Place all the above into a plastic Ziploc bag for camper to turn into camp infirmary
