It's Winter Break!

It is hard to believe, but we are already at the halfway mark in the school year. Our hopes is that this two week holiday break will give the opportunity for rest and a fresh start to the New Year!

What is Campus Life doing during the break?
1. Lights and Broomball - THIS SATURDAY from 6:45pm-midnight for $20 (and a permission slip) we are going to look at Christmas Lights and playing Broomball at SkateTown. We are meeting at Valley Springs Church at 6:45pm to join them for the fun, please have a ride ready to pick up at SkateTown at midnight.

2. Would you like to hang out? Contact Campus Life staff to find something fun to do. We are up
for hot cocoa, video games, going to the movies, pranking other Campus Life staff, whatever! Feel free to call or text.

3. MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Southland during Spring Break Friday April 11th- Tuesday April 15th - Early Bird cost is $199 to go on this amazing trip to Magic Mountain, the beach, and more!

4. Campus Life 2014 Party on Monday January 6th - be there for our new year party!

13-14 Winter Calendar!

Our Winter Calendar is out and ready! We are so excited for another season of Campus Life fun. Here's a couple highlights you won't want to miss:

• GBHS Pancake Breakfast - in the Granite Bay High School quad on Wednesday
  
  December 11th, we are having a free Pancake Breakfast for students from 7:30-8:15am. Tell friends and don't be late!
• 80's Christmas Night - On 12/13 it is Friday the 13th and we are celebrating with a little fun at the Barn. Arrive at 9:30 and we will be done around midnight. Please bring snacks to share.
• Lights & Broomball - cost $20 and waiver form due Wednesday 12/18 for fun on Saturday 12/21 from 6:45-midnight. We are joining Valley Springs youth group for fun in the bus seeing local Christmas lights, then we will go to SkateTown for Broomball! Please pick up at SkateTown at midnight.
• Christmas Service at Bayside - Are you looking for a Christmas service to go to. Campus Life will be going to Bayside's Christmas service on Monday December 23rd. Please RSVP with us asap so that we can reserve your spot!

More fun in the Fall!

Santa Cruisin' was so much fun, but if you thought that we were done - you'd be wrong!

 

First, next Monday 10/14 we have Mystery Monday. On these Campus Life Mondays, students show up with $10 and their Yearlong Permission Slip/Medical Form signed and we go out for local fun! Pick up at the Barn at 9:00pm.

Next we are offering a Pancake Breakfast to Granite Bay High School in the quad 10/16 from 7:30-8:15am. Invite friends for some free food!

Santa Cruisin' Last Details

Hello everyone, we are so excited for our upcoming Santa Cruisin' trip! The trip has changed to be a SATURDAY TRIP to Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk! It is going to be a bunch of fun with rides, food, and a wonderful beach to hang out at.

At the moment we are seeing if we can get a great group-rate discount for rides and food, so please stay tuned for the new cost of this day trip.

If you are coming, please make sure to contact us immediately. Turn in your Medical/Consent Form, and arrive at the Barn at 6:00am on Saturday with what you need for a day of fun!

Some things to bring include: bathing suit, sun screen, shoes, towel, and money for snacks.

Fall Calendar!

The Fall season is here, students are back in school, schedules are normalizing, and at the Barn we are just getting going with fun events! Check out our Fall Calendar for upcoming events and trips! http://email.yfcministries.org/GBCLHSFallCalendar.jpg

A couple important dates to note:

• Sharknado, THIS Friday September 13th at the Barn. Pool is open at 9:30, move starts at 10:00pm. Please note that this movie is rated PG-14, and is the worst movie I have ever seen! Students are invited to come connected with friends, swim, and watch sharks eat people.
• Dodgeball Tournament, Monday September 23rd 7-9pm at the Barn. Cost is $12/team by 9/18, or $20/team at the door. Come in teams of 6 with costumes on and ready for fun. Prizes are being given out to best dressed, and best dressed team. Pizza and popcorn will be sold for $1 during the tournament.
• Santa Cruisin'! Friday Oct 4 - Sunday Oct 6. Cost $99 with Medical form by September 23, $125 for late registration. Come to our beginning of the year beach trip to Santa Cruz. We will be staying at Daybreak Camp, going to the beach, hanging with friends, and going to Marianne's Ice Cream Saturday night. Sign up today!
